Martha Stewart described Chef Guillermo Pernot's empanadas as "delicious little pockets of Latin passion." How will YOU celebrate the empanada with us in April?


National Empanada Day
 was on April 8, but we like to extend our celebrations so they last an entire month, which is why we've officially made the month of April "Empanada Month." A month full of specials? ¡Sí! 

 

For the lobster lover:

Available for a limited time only (April 1-30), we'll feature a special Lobster Empanada, made with black corn dough and filled with Maine Lobster and coral butter. Served with a mango escabéche and a passion fruit-citrus mojo. Available during dinner for $9.

 

For the Happy Hour regular: 

Every Wednesday during Happy Hour (5-7 p.m.) at our Atlantic City location, all Mamá Amelia's Empanadas are just ONE dollar (yes, $1!) at the bar, but on April 8 - the official National Empanada Day- we're celebrating big time. These tasty turnovers usually sell for $4 during Happy Hour, so get 'em while they're hot and cool down with a Classic Caipirinha ($5) or house-made Sangria ($4).
