We are proud to have hosted so many Cuban-Americans who came from throughout our country to join the July 26 march on the White House calling on President Biden to take action in support of the Cuban people.”
In an effort to support Cuba Decide, a citizen driven non-profit organization tirelessly advocating for change in Cuba’s political system, we will be donating 50% of sales from our signature Cuba Libre cocktail throughout the month of August to the organization (up to a cap of $5,000). The Cuba Libre cocktail is so intertwined with a desire for independence that it has been a rallying cry in speeches, as well as raised in glasses at local watering holes for more than a century. For our fundraising effort, the popular drink will be made traditionally, with our own proprietary brand rum, blended by Florida Caribbean Distillers exclusively for our restaurant’s cocktails, Coca-Cola and a wedge of lime.
In addition to 50% of sales proceeds from our Cuba Libre cocktail going to Cuba Decide, restaurant guests also have the option of adding on a donation to their check in (increments of) $1 and $5. If you’re interested in contributing an additional donation for Cuba Decide, please ask your server to add it to your check. 100% of these additional guest donations will go to Cuba Decide.
