You've tasted the restaurant's classic Mama Amelia's empanadas before, now Cuba Libre is giving you the opportunity to learn how to fill, bake and most importantly eat your very own empanada creations. Attendees will enjoy tapas and cocktails while participating in the hands-on empanada making class, led by our Executive Chef Matt Zagorski. The interactive class is designed to give participants a full understanding of the empanada-making process from start to finish, including: how to make the dough, prepare the filling and cook these delectable little pockets of Latin flavor. Guests will learn the history behind our signature empanadas (who IS Mama Amelia, anyway?) as well as a brief background on Cuban culture, cuisine and cocktails.
