Cuba Libre in Pointe Orlando will celebrate its signature cocktail, the mojito, on National Mojito Day – Wednesday, July 11 – with $5 Classic Mojitos available all evening at the bar beginning at 5 p.m.

The cocktail, made famous by Ernest Hemingway and made best by Cuba Libre, is made with hand-pressed sugarcane (called guarapo), fresh lime juice, mint, Cuba Libre’s own white rum, and a splash of soda.

The Mojito Day celebration will run throughout the evening at Happy Hour from 5-7 p.m., where the $5 mojitos can be paired with $6 tapas bites, and throughout dinner beginning at 5 p.m., featuring Cuba Libre’s traditional Cuban tapas, grilled meats and seafood, and many more exciting dishes by Chef-Partner Guillermo Pernot.
