Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar in Old City, Philadelphia (just off 2nd & Market Streets) will celebrate National Empanada Day on Sunday, April 8 by offering ALL empanadas for just $1 (!!!) from 5 to 8 p.m. at the bar during the restaurant's annual Dollar Empanada Happy Hour!
The signature empanadas, made with a variety of fillings, can be paired with Cuba LIbre's many Happy Hour drink specials, including $5 mojitos, caipirinhas and Cuba Libres; $4 housemade sangria; $4 house wine, and $4 beer.

In addition to Cuba Libre's National Empanada Day celebration, the restaurant will also offer a special empanada for just two weeks, April 16 - April 30, 2018. The Chicken Baracoa Empanada is filled with pulled chicken stewed with coconut milk, mangos, and tomato-ginger chutney, and will be available in addition to Cuba Libre's usual empanada menu during dinner, lunch, and weekend brunch.
Note: Happy Hour tapas specials are only available Monday-Friday and will not be offered on Sunday, April 8. The full Happy Hour drinks menu will be available!
