Credit Card Surcharge Fee
POSTED IN | Food & Drink 07.29.26
To avoid increasing menu prices for all guests, a 3% fee is applied to credit card transactions. This helps offset the costs associated with processing credit card payments while giving guests the option to avoid the fee by paying with cash, debit card, or prepaid card.
Over the past several decades, credit card processing costs (swipe fees) have risen as card usage has increased and credit card rewards programs have become more generous. While accepting credit cards remains an important convenience for our guests, the cost of processing those payments has become a significant operating expense. Guests who choose to pay with cash, debit card, or prepaid card will not incur this fee.
In keeping with our commitment to transparency, notice of this fee is clearly disclosed at locations throughout the restaurant, on our menus, guest receipts, and website. This is not a gratuity, and staff do not receive any portion of this fee.
We appreciate your understanding and support of independently owned restaurants like ours. If you have any questions about this policy, please let us know by messaging us here. Submit Message
